Part of the transmedia development for True Colours, Whose Pride looks at the more recent issues of the Pride Parade controversies stirring passionate debate within the Rainbow Community. We plot the path from Stonewall, through to the first NZ political marches, the Hero parades and their current reinvention back to ‘hikois’ again, inspiring conversations about the place of Pride within today’s complex and diverse community. Bringing robust discussions to the table, we begin to see our commonalities as well as our differences, as we explore a more nuanced idea of who we are and where we go from here.
